Mojácar ‘El Ayer de Mojácar’ photographic exhibition of a collection of old pictures of the pueblo from a collection prepared by the PSOE-Mojácar. Organised by the town hall. Mojácar Coro Nacional de los Petit Cantors de Andorra. This fifty strong choir will perform a concert of classical pieces (Mozart, Handel, Shubert et al.) at the Artisan Centre on December 8th at 8.00pm.

Mojácar/Garrucha/Turre Yes, it’s that time of year again. The elves have been rushing off to El Corte Ingles in search of perfect presents and the Sexy Santas have been out testing the generosity of local businesses for the best ever gifts for this year’s prize draw. Behind the scenes, people have been moving fridges and freezers to dig out Santa’s sleigh. The Sexy Santas will be out in Mojacar Pueblo and Mojácar Playa on Friday the 16th December, singing their very own versions of popular carols and shaking their tins for your donations. On Sunday the 18th December, Santa’s sleigh will tour Garrucha, Turre and Mojácar Playa, while the Sexy Santas sing and collect for the fight against cancer. Then at 4.00pm they arrive at bar La Mar Salada on Mojacar Playa for The Sexy Santa’s Christmas Spectacular. Children can visit Santa in his grotto where they can have a photo taken with Santa and receive a gift. Entertainment will be provided in many forms for kids and adults alike. Winners of the prize draw will be announced, and of course, there’s a bar! The Sexy Santas raises money for La Asociación Española Contra el Cancer. Last year, the Sexy Santas raised 8,550€.

Cuevas del Almanzora Desert Springs Resort wins three Bentley International Property Awards. The luxurious golf resort won the awards from the prestigious car manufacturer during the gala evening celebrated recently at the London Marriott Hotel. The awards were Best Golf Promotion in Almería, Best Promotion in Spain and Best Architectural Promotion. Desert Springs was also short-listed for ‘Best of the Best’.
